Fanwall Technology

FANWALL is the latest innovation in fan technology for our industry. FANWALL consists of multiple fans/motors being used in place of a single fan in an Air Handling Unit. However, a FANWALL system is more than off-the-shelf fans and motors, it incorporates an integrated system of state-of-the-art fans, motors, cabinetry, controls, and accessories which were innovated and manufactured specifically for fan array systems.

The major benefits of FANWALL are reduced size, quiet operation, superior efficiency, low cost maintenance/service, and built-in redundancy as compared to single fan systems. Each fan is mounted directly to its individual motor, eliminating belt and fan bearing maintenance. In a retrofit application, each FANWALL “cube” can be brought into a building by one man with a hand cart, thereby providing a way to get large fan systems into seemingly impossible locations.

Since 2003, more than 40,000 FANWALL cubes have been installed and are successfully moving over 250 million cfm throughout the world. Among the users of these applications are some of the highest profile buildings in the world. Applications for FANWALL technologyinclude data centers, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, and laboratories–facilities in which we have employed them in recent years.
